There are about as many different brands as there are different styles. Have you ever wondered how solar power lights work? Well, basically it is a plastic case with a solar cell on the top. In side the plastic case under the solar cell there is a small control board with a single AA battery, under that part is an LED light source. When the sun hits the solar cell during the day it charges the battery. At night a photo resistordetects the low light which switches to battery mode to provide power to the LED light source.
The second type, indoor sun reflective solar lights are called light tubes or light spaces. They are made to bring in natural light in dark areas of your home. The tubes are made of reflective material. The light from the sun travels down a tube that has reflective material inside it to light up parts of your home where theres not much natural light. One of the nice things about these solar lights is that the tubes don't have to be in a straight line. Allowing for installations in tight places. Installing these solar power lights will also help cut down on your power bill.
